The commercial moving sector has changed dramatically since 1978, when Billy and Mairead Murray founded Universal Commercial Relocation. No longer can a removal company simply provide the physical relocation of office furniture and nothing more. Additional add-on services such as specialist IT relocation work, document storage and secure destruction, environmental disposal, file mapping and move management are now par for the course.

Universal announced as a finalist in the British Association of Removers Commercial Mover of The Year 2013 Awards. Sarah Cole collects the finalist award on behalf of Universal Commercial Relocation from Conference Keynote Speaker Catherine McKinnell, the MP for Newcastle on Tyne North, and Shadow Treasury Minister, and John Mitchell of Pluscates.
